Charcuterie Plate + a blunt Global Knife. Funny where yoga shows up…

On the Plank fanpage I reported how I was over zealous on my wrist, in an attempted Side Crow. The following day, I felt some relief from an Arm Balance workshop, as Peter Crowley’s instruction was so precise that, the wrist rarely felt the full body pressure and I left class, with a feeling of on-the-road to recovery.

After the shock & awe subsided and I came down from a high of revelation & new discovery, life went back to normal & the injury presented itself again. Just when I thought i is almost healed, my A-type personality had to go to yoga. I paid attention to my wrists, but I couldn’t remember, all of Mr. Crowley’s attentive instruction or after, I’ve had an on-the-road to recovery experience from an intense Holistic Massage, I tried to cut a slice of hard Chorizo with a blunt Global knife only to set my wrist off, again.

Since it is essential that I continue to eat, Yoga made me aware of my grip & how much pressure I was applying to my wrist. Pre-Plank AAPP’s I would have changed the grip & pressure, however this time I was very specific to see where I could find relaxation in my hand grip…

I can imagine a host of occasions where this Well-Heeled Guru will be better served by a relaxed hand grip…
