The WHG officially declares it Yoga Workshop Weekend…

Lorra Yoga Workshops this weekend for the practioner to mix up their practice a lot…

I’m fully booked what with my daughter’s 6th Birthday and my own Yoga Workshop, at Louis Boston Nov 13th + 14th, which will have a post all to itself, which is a bit more audacious + out of the box, way to use yoga... Yoga Workshop for High Heel Endurance,  Neiman Marcus.

Anyway, if I didn’t have a Birthday party to organise and a weekend of sharing how, I the WHG, apply my yoga practice to real life, then I’d be attending one or maybe all of these events…

At Back Bay Yoga,

Nov 12th, Amy Wren & Georgia Reath’s, Smart Sequence Flow 12-2pm $25.

Georgia Reath & Amy Wren

I loved to take Georgia Reath’s Community Class on Wednesday during the summer with my interns, her languaging and sequencing was precise and led us to the possibility of some previously impossible pose… I hoped it would give my summer interns, the ability to see how their bodies work and how they could enable + empower, their enviously young bods to go way beyond they thought possible…lass : Smart Sequence Flow

Nov 12th & 13th, Jivamukti Master Class, Derek Tschen, 6-8pm $25

Dechen Thurman

It’s been a while since I took Jivamukti Yoga, would love to see how it opens up for me, now that I’ve a few Vinyasa Flows under my Lululemon stretch pant belt. The workshop will include Jivamkti Yoga, Pranaymama and Meditation, Bodies, Breath, Koshas and Karma, if you think I know what all that means, I don’t. If I didn’t have my own workshop to present, I’d be interested to find out…

Anyway, you’ve got 2 evening workshops to try it out, whilst Dechen is in town…

At Yoga Sakti, Salem,

Nov 13th, 2.30-4.30pm David Magone, introduces his new DVD with a workshop + chats…

David Magone, Pranavayu Yoga

He too, has great talking points & languaging, that have led me to poses, I thought were months away. Yes, I do have Yoga Ego issues, i.e. I’ve been doing this thing for a while and my arm balances are not very fancy, but I’m really OK with it.  I know there are some ardent Dave Fans, so now you can take him and rewind to unwind, and rewind again..

At South Boston Yoga, South Boston:

Nov 13th, Circus Kids with Roger May, 1.30-2.45pm

A mix of yoga techniques with fun circus play games, a great way for your kids to be active + playful and for you to stay warm… Not technically a workshop, but an option for the parents who want to introduce some of yoga’s benefits to their nearest + dearest…

Anyway after you’ve been to all or one of these workshops, be sure to come to Louis Boston’s for a different yoga workshop, that you can apply to your practice when you’re off your mat, preferably a Plank Mat, but any mat will do and into your real life. Put a Save the Date, placeholder on your calendar for Plank’s, Yoga Workshop for High Heel Wearing without the Pain. Nov 13th & 14th at 1.00pm & 4pm. Deets will go up shortly & yes I know it’s short notice, but stop fretting and breathe… I’ll be there for 2 days, so you will be able to go to the ball, m’dear…

Just a thought, with so many yoga workshops and retreats, it’s hard to keep a track of them all. I’m hoping some mathematical whiz becomes enlightened in Savasana, whilst lying on his yoga mat and figures out a way to put them all into a trusty little App

WHG, an expert in all things, shoes + heels + fitting yoga into a busy lifestyle…
